I put together a playlist of advanced bodyweight exercises to give you some ideas on what can be done and to help you choose what direction you want to go with your training.

All these exercises are a extremely advanced level of bodyweight exercises. Some of these exercises can take over a year to learn how to do.

All these exercises are a good long term goal to set for yourself. The best way to get the strength and balance needed for theses advanced body weight exercises is to start with simpler versions of the exercises and progress to slightly harder version until you reach your goal.

Remember body weight training is a slow process, so learn to enjoy the process and try not to get to far ahead of yourself to help avoid injures.

Keep in mind body weight training will make you strong but it will not necessarily put on lots of muscle mass.

This is our very first step to out one arm pull ups . I wouldn't worry though if you never get to a one arm pull up its actually a very great help for a regular pull up as well. Enjoy the exercise it makes for a really nice stretch also.

Easier Exercises to Master to Work Your Way to the Pistol.

So this is my first exercise post on the Convict conditioning book . I stared with the squat progression to the pistol squat . In this pose get a comfortable mate and if possible even get something that you can put underneath your neck to make it even more comfortable.

 

Russian Hamstring Curls.

Begin by kneeling on a mat, arms crossed over your chest. The therapist will hold down your feet as you gradually "fall" forward to lie on your stomach on the mat. The key to this exercise is controlling the motion to the mat with your hamstrings for as long as possible.

 

Hamstring curls for someone without a partner and is handy.

http://www.andrew-dixon.com/ The Natural Glute Ham Raise is a brutal exercise that targets the gastrocnemius, hamstrings, glutes and spinal muscles. Here I offer 2 versions. One with hip flexion and one with no hip flexion. Cues: 1. Lock your feet down with a strap or other suitable devicce. For Hip Flexion: 2.

Here is an interesting video showing bodyweight exercises that can be done instead of common exercises that require gym equipment. Now you can quit the gym.
